The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won 34 of the seats announced as at the close of yesterday. The Young Progressive Party (YPP) won a senatorial seat in Anambra State. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the election in four senatorial districts inconclusive. He came to the house of John Mark’s mother where many gathered together to pray. He became Armed Robber: After some time, the boy became a serious armed robber. And every time , he was to go out to rob, he would pray and throughout the period , he was never arrested .  He  lived beside the barrack, and no one ever , no police ever , no DSS ever arrested him.  Could he it be that God was always interested in his prayers!
God arrested: On one fateful day, he was about to go outside the country as usual to rob again, but he was arrested by God himself, and was sent to jail.

….charges members on obedience to leadership

THE General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, Saturday, maintained that the church will not be handed over to ‘rascals’ who are not portraying the image of Christ in their character.

Kumuyi made the declaration via a satellite broadcast from headquarters of the church in Lagos, while teaching on the topic, ‘Fear Not: The Promise Is Still Good’ during the Faith Clinic session at the ongoing Deeper Life National December Retreat, holding at the Deeper Life Conference Centre (DLCC), which started on Friday, December 21 and ends December 25.

We were in school one Friday morning, indeed we had just resumed from the lunch break) when the school bell rang unusually. We were all perplexed by this oddity and were still trying to figure who the august visitor we were summoned for was, when teachers hurriedly huddled us out of our classrooms and told us to go home immediately. To compound an already chaotic situation, there was an unusual movement in the adjoining Army Barracks which was separated by the barbed wire mesh. Guns were being corked and we could see soldiers running helter-skelter while some soldiers were assembled seated on the football field. We were still busy watching them when Mr. Olaniyan and Mr. Farinde came from behind and gave us generous lashes of 'pankere' cane on our buttocks. We were warned to proceed to our respective homes immediately because there was a fight among the soldiers. We managed to get home but met the same apprehension while some adults crowded a battery-powered transistor radio t…

One-Dozen Ways to Grow a Happy Child

1. Fall in love with your baby through a positive birthing experience for baby, mother, and father. Then strengthen that love by breastfeeding your child until he or she no longer needs it.
2. Keep your baby with you as much as possible. Separations and changing caretakers make it harder for your child to learn trust and to grow into a loving and trusting adult.
3. Breastfeed your baby until he or she no longer needs it.3 Breastmilk contains immune mechanisms which help keep your baby healthy. Any other food, even sugar water, permanently destroys many of these important substances. A healthy baby is a joy!
4. Share sleep with your baby. This makes nighttime parenting easier and can help prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Your child's need for your presence does not magically disappear at bedtime.
5. Responding quickly and compassionately to your baby's cries, both day and night, reassures him that he is important to you. Picking up your baby will not "spoil" him…

How I got my #PVC in less than 2Minutes in the midst of unprecedented crowd today (8-2-2019)

"Today, 8th Feb; 2019, the collection of PVC remains a miracle to tell the whole world.
I left my place of work by 10am, and went straight to the PVC collection centre , to queue and pick mine. On the road , I met so many people ; some were angry and some were jubilating . It was a mixed feeling for the two categories.  I tried to console those who were sad that , they should cheer up. They complained bitterly that they didn't see their own PVC. And those who were jubilating explained to me that they had been coming on daily basis since December 2018, and they eventually got it. One of them even went further that, he would kill chicken to celebrate the success of getting his PVC. He said he had never voted , and now that he is ready to vote, he would not want lack of PVC to hinder is desire.

On getting to the venue, and Government Science Primary School, Kuje Area Council in FCT, Abuja. Immediately, I arrived the location,  I discovered that , the man distr…
