Video: Horrifying moment helicopter blades sliced man in attempted rescue

A man was killed by helicopter blades when the aircraft flipped over during a dramatic rescue mission.
According to Metro UK, the horrific footage captured the moment the man and another were being rescued after their own helicopter crashed in a remote part of the southwestern Cauca District in Colombia.
Both men had been stranded in the hillside for seven days after their craft broke down with technical issues.
They had managed to survive for the week before another chopper was sent out to find them and retrieve their crashed helicopter, which had been carrying valuable equipment.
The victim was killed on the fifth rescue mission following four successful visits to retrieve equipment.
Colombian Army General Jorge Herrera told WRadio there was no way of knowing of the ‘devastating consequences’ of the fifth mission.
The video shows two technicians standing next to the remains of their downed helicopter, waving their hands to direct the rescuing helicopter safely to the ground.
The victim, Ivan Andrés López Londoño, can be seen in white with his arms in the air as the black helicopter descends. Suddenly, the aircraft tips to the side and rolls over, with López Londoño hit by the rotating blades just out of shot.
López Londoño, who reportedly worked as a maintenance manager for the helicopter company, died at the scene. The pilot suffered a wrist injury and bruising when the helicopter overturned and was transferred to hospital.
Local authorities have launched an investigation to establish the cause of the accident, which took place last Sunday.

Vanguard News Nigeria

THE General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi, Saturday, maintained that the church will not be handed over to ‘rascals’ who are not portraying the image of Christ in their character.
Kumuyi

Kumuyi made the declaration via a satellite broadcast from headquarters of the church in Lagos, while teaching on the topic, ‘Fear Not: The Promise Is Still Good’ during the Faith Clinic session at the ongoing Deeper Life National December Retreat, holding at the Deeper Life Conference Centre (DLCC), which started on Friday, December 21 and ends December 25.

He said the church will not condone any form of rascality and rebellion because the word of God never encourages that and is a strange behaviour capable of taking one to hell fire.

He said: “We are not going to hand the church over to rascals, over to rebellious people that want to scatter everything that is good that the Lord is doing. If you …
